Avon and Refuge look to Facebook to highlight DV

Avon and Refuge look to Facebook to highlight domestic abuse levels | News | New Media Age.

“Domestic violence cuts through all social barriers – it can happen to any woman,” said Horley. “The Facebook app will bring the reality of the numbers of women likely to be affected by domestic violence to the forefront of people’s minds and generate much needed support for victims.”

The app will also be supported by a campaign site, which provides information on how people can spot signs of domestic violence among friends, family and colleagues and help those affected.
